Formal homework, and informal working at home are both key ways in which home and school can support one another to help your child’s learning and progress.

Homework activities are an important way to support your child’s work in school. We hope that you will encourage, and assist where necessary, but not do the work for your child, as an important aim of homework is to help children to learn how to work independently.
