National Curriculum Website The National Curriculum website aims to help teachers teach the National Curriculum for England.
To do this, it offers two main functions:
| | searching the Curriculum Online portal (through the National Curriculum) for web resources that complement the programmes of study for each subject. These could be published by government, large or small commercial publishers, or teachers.
| | searching by keyword (through the National Curriculum).
| From the home page of this site you can access:
| | the 12 National Curriculum subjects (plus religious education and PSHE) from the navigation bar along the left
| | information about the National Curriculum (from the printed teacher handbooks)
| | information on inclusion across the whole curriculum
| | information on learning across the curriculum. This helps you to explore opportunities across the curriculum to reinforce key skills and other non-statutory areas.
| | a text-only version of the site, suitable for voice browsers
| | links to other QCA websites dealing with specific aspects of the National Curriculum, including gifted and talented, learning difficulties, education for sustainable development and safe swimming.
