The Autumn Package The Autumn Package is a document published annually by the Department for Education and Skills draws on the test data provided by the Qualifications Curriculum Authority (QCA). It is made available to Schools and Local Education Authorities (LEAs) and contains National Pupil Performance Data. This is taken from the results of Statutory and optional National Curriculum tests taken at four Key Stages: Key Stage 1: Ages 5-7 Key Stage 2: Ages 7-11 Key Stage 3: Ages 11-14 Key Stage 4/GCSE/GNVQ: Ages 14-16 What is the Autumn Package used for and what is in it? The Autumn Package can be used to examine aspects of a school's performance against all schools nationally or to a group of similar schools. It also facilitates investigation at school and pupil level. The Autumn Package should help answer the following questions a school might have:
